Hello everyone! Just checking in to remind everyone that I’m still alive and kicking. I’ve just uploaded a new build that has three ‘exciting’ new features. Hopefully that’ll keep you tided over while I work on some BIG changes. So here are the new things:

There’s a new upgrade that allows you to E X P A N D Y O U R R E A C T O R. People have been asking for this for a long time. It costs a hefty amount of Exotic Particles, and each level adds another row and column to your reactor.

Exchangers have been ‘fixed’! Before they were, uh, random, in order to prevent the kind of sided bias you can see in Reactor Idle. It was an adequate solution, but as the game progresses into the future, I wanted something a little more consistent. Exchangers are now 100% deterministic, though their new behavior in more complex setups might take some getting used to.

Extreme Coolant Cells have been changed to take 10% of the current heat of whichever components they’re affecting, rather than some weird formula that I couldn’t possibly decipher a year later.

I have 2 suggestions.
1. I think that saveable designs would be nice, so you can save and compare designs that are different, like inderect cooling vs. direct cooling etc.
2. A second "tab" would be nice, where you can build experimental designs while the the reactor in the first tab generates money. The "experimental" tab should not be able to generate money. Just so that you can work on something, while your current top notch design generates money.

I Like thos game very much, although I think that there are still big balancing issues, like the heat exchanger. Although it now can transfer more heat than before the upgrade, it's still better tu use direct cooling an go completely without exchangers. That's ab bit sad. Still rating 5/5 ^^ .

Message to the game Dev: I can't speak for everyone here but as for me, I'm more than happy to put up with repeated/botched updates with someone who updates fairly frequently rather than deal with a crappy game that someone never touches again. Nice job so far, I look forward to see where this goes.

An idea...how about a slider, with a max value of the number of ticks per second. That way you can turn it down, and slow the ticks, in case you want to make a change and monitor it with time to respond.

In response to your latest update; brother, you've been the most reliable, constant, and engaging developer I've had the pleasure to come across. PLEASE keep coding, keep building, keep conversing with your playerbase just like you do. We need more like you in every field of work. Thank you so much for writing something that is about to eat another evening up. :)
